For the five years I went to college, I attended Penn State Wilkes-Barre for a year, and Pennsylvania College of Technology for four to get my Bachelor’s. At Penn State Wilkes-Barre, I was studying in the Information Science and Technology major for that year, while at Penn College, I studied Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology. Wasn’t a straight A student, so I’m sure my professors were just glad to see my get my diploma that May almost ten years ago (wow…).
During the time between when I transferred from Penn State Wilkes-Barre to Penn College, I did apply to Lock Haven University and was accepted there. But I went with Penn College instead.
Picking Penn College over Lock Haven was for two reasons: my brother went to Penn College, so I felt some sort of attachment to the school, and I was more interested in the Computer Engineering program at Penn College over the Computer Science program for my major. Can’t say if I made the right choice out of the two options, but there’s no point in looking back now is there?
