More Nonfiction Books

Bloganuary writing prompt
What books do you want to read?

There are twenty books or more on my shelf now that I want to read, not including the two hundred or more e-books I have on my Kindle. But out of the collection, maybe five percent of them are nonfiction. So, I’d like to change that!

I have read a few memoirs, informational pieces, and even a collection of essays, but that was all overshadowed by a mixture of fantasy and horror novels. I want to read more essay collections; the last essay book I read was more humorous, but it was nice being able to pick it up and read it whenever.

I also want to include more history books, build a collection on a time, and learn all that had happened during then. The 1940s and ’50s were decades I gravitated toward when learning about our history. Specifically — the World War 2 era. But I don’t want to focus on just that; I would like to know more about what happened outside of that, what was happening, and what changed the future.

Looking forward to adding more to my growing library!
