I’ll make this short and sweet. It’s not a specific food that takes me back, but the place itself.
Reds Pizza, a local shop in a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania, was my go-to spot for takeout pizza when I was younger. It helped that Reds was about a few minutes’ drive from our house, so the convenience was there for a quick meal. We’d probably get food from there about 2-3 times a month. Each time, I’d always get the same thing: pepperoni pizza, and chicken wings. That never got old!
Now 20+ years later, I moved away from my hometown, so I don’t get pizza there anymore when we visit. The next time I make the trip to see my family, I’ll make a slight detour to grab my usual pepperoni pizza and wings!
